The establishment earned recognition for its world-class destination of luxury, leisure, and excellence.
Solaire Resort emerged as the recipient of the Casino Hotel of the Year – Philippines and Resort Hotel of the Year – Philippines categories at the TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards 2025 – Asia, which highlight its Solaire Resort Entertainment City as the Philippines’ premier integrated resort.
The hotel is located on an expansive 8.3-hectare property that is just a few kilometres from the city’s key business and heritage districts. It was the first resort to open in the government-sponsored (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation) economic development zone known as Entertainment City.
Solaire, whose name is a French word that means “breeze from the sun,” is inspired by the Manila Bay sunset and its gentle breeze.
It features two towers, the Bay Tower and Sky Tower, with a total of 800 rooms, suites, and villas. It also offers sweeping views of Manila Bay, a 72-metre outdoor pool, private cabanas, a fitness centre, salon, spa, and jacuzzi, amongst many others.
The resort’s architecture and interior design were crafted by world-renowned designer Paul Steelman of Steelman Partners. Adding to its artistry are the more than 3,000 artworks by talented young Filipino artists.
Aside from appreciating the artworks, guests can indulge in 19 restaurants and bars, including the award-winning Finestra, Yakumi, and Red Lantern. Each restaurant offers exquisite cuisines, fine wines from over 685 labels, signature cocktails, and in-room dining for a more private experience.
For shopping, The Shoppes at Solaire has 35 luxury boutiques that make it a destination for world-class retail indulgence.
Furthermore, Solaire’s Theatre at Solaire features 1,740 seats and has already hosted world-renowned productions such as “The Lion King,” “Hamilton,” “Wicked,” “Les Misérables,” and “Miss Saigon.”
Meanwhile, for those seeking unique activities, there is the Sky Range, which provides an exclusive shooting experience, and the Solaire Sports Club, the first in the country to offer pickleball, padel, and golf in one location. The resort also offers a grand ballroom, eight meeting rooms, and two boardrooms with full banquet and catering services for events and conferences. Solaire continues to innovate with new guest experiences, such as the opening of “The Space at Solaire,” a 1,400-square-metre venue designed for high-impact events, exhibitions, and immersive experiences.
In addition to the aforementioned, Solaire has a 29,000-square-metre gaming area spanning two levels, offering electronic and table games, slot machines, and a dedicated Player’s Stadium. The Solaire Club also provides a private and premium gaming experience for its most distinguished guests. The recently launched Dragon Room aims to provide a premium, yet accessible gaming destination, enhancing the overall experience for patrons.
Whether it be exquisite architecture, curated dining, world-class entertainment or personalised service—name it and Solaire Resort Entertainment City has it. The hotel has become not just a place to stay but to experience the art of refined living.
