Sea Links Golf & Country Club

According to the club’s owner he had a chance to visit Scotland, and was able to enjoy some of the most famous links style golf courses like Musselburg Links, Carnoustie Golf Links. From then on te idea of creating the first golf course next by the sea in Vietnam was the plan and this Ronald Fream designed course was eventually opened in 2008.

The Sea Links Golf Club is located in Phan Thiet City, almost 200km from Ho Chi Minh City in the heart of a breathtaking area of the countryside. Nearby attractions include Lau Ong Hoang, Poshanu Tower, Ong Dia Stone, Ham Tien and Hon Gom.

Although comparing to some of the great Scottish link tracks, Sea Links has the advantages that other famous Links Golf Courses in the world do not have; that is the warm climate all year round. Playing golf here, you will never need to worry about the bad cold weather of the North Vietnam or the heavy rain of the South.

Sea Links is the second course in Phan Thiet, joining Ocean Dunes Golf Club as two jewels in this Vietnamese coastal town.

The actual 7, 623 yard course has been created on an area of 160 hectares on a cliff with wild and beautiful white sand dunes. At sea level, and just a few minutes from Full Moon Beach, there are breathtaking views of the ocean below. Notable at Sea Links are their long par fives and two island par threes. Heavy undulations are found on the greens and fairways making this a fun challenge.

In fact quoted as ‘The Most Challenging Links Style Golf Course In Asia’, these wonderful 18 holes at Sea Links are destined to become one of the best Vietnam golf courses.
