The top five winners of Viet Nam’s TPBank Amateur Golfers Championship will represent the country at the world championship in Turkey next month.
Five Vietnamese players will take part in the World Amateur Golf Championship in Turkey in November.
Do Viet Hung, Luu Xuan Loc, Nguyen Hong Ngan and Nguyen Nhu Nguyen beat 40 competitors at the Dam Vac Golf Course in Vinh Phuc Province on October 24.
“Many golfers are outstanding and I had to work hard for a win,” Hung said after his victory.
“It will be more difficult in Turkey where competitors play for several days in a row. My teammates and I will have to train to build a better physique and hope that we bring some Vietnamese aspects to the world event,” he said.
TP Bank will sponsor the Viet Nam team to compete at the Belek Antalya City tournament that will be held from November 11 to December 5.
