Rickie Fowler and track and field star Allison Stokke have anounced their engagement on Friday, which was also National Best Friend Day. 

Rickie Fowler posted this on Instagram:

Today is National Best Friend Day so I wanted to lock mine down…I WON!!

Fowler wrote: “Today is National Best Friend Day so I wanted to lock mine down…I WON!!”

Stokke wrote: “Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And happy national best friend day to my best best best friend! I love you!!!”

His Instagram post has already received 299,603 likes, so the good news in spreading fast. We’ll just have to add our congratulations too.
