The launch event also saw the appointment of Lam Chih Bing as PXG Brand Ambassador. Lam, who retired from playing professionally in 2016, had 16 professional wins, including the Volvo Masters of Asia in 2008. He played in three Open Championships and remains the only Singaporean to have made the cut in a Major championship.
He is now a Senior Client Advisor with a major local bank and still very active in the golfing circle. Lam was presented with a full set of PXG clubs which consist of Driver, Fairway Woods, Hybrid, Irons, Wedges and putter by Dato Loh Ah Joo, Chairman of MST Golf Singapore, and Oshimoto.
“They feel amazing and are incredibly consistent. The difference is noticeable,” said Lam on his new GEN2 Irons. “I would like to thank Dato Loh and MST Golf to link me to PXG. I only wish I had these clubs during my playing career,” he added.
