The annual open golf tournament “Golden Lotus” was organized by VietGolfMos in Links National Golf Club and Forest Hills Golf Club in Moscow on July 1st and 2nd.
In its 6th consecutive year, the annual open golf tournament gathered about 125 Vietnamese golfers from many countries around the world such as US, UK, Poland, Australia, Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Vietnam. This is the 3rd consecutive year which Vietnam Airlines has been the main sponsor for the tournament.
Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of the association of Vietnamese people loving golf in Russia (VietGolfMos), said the golf tournament has drawn a lot of golfers from many countries around the world, contributing to improving the golf playing movement of Vietnamese people in the Russian Federation.
The golf tournament is not only a playground to exchange and connect Vietnamese people loving golf around the world, but it is also a place to promote the image of and increase understanding of the country, people, life and culture of Vietnam to Russian friends, and strengthen of the friendly relations between Vietnam and Russia./.
