JAPANESE CUISINE AT SHERATON HANOI HOTEL FROM 14 TO 24 JUNE 2018

Hanoi, June 14, 2018The Sheraton Hanoi Hotel is very pleased to present Japanese Cuisine from 14 to 24 June, 2018 at Oven D’or Restaurant. The Executive Chef Nguyen Cong Chung will deliver a life-time culinary experience to Hanoian.

Japan is well known as a popular tourist destination in Asia, attracting visitors not only by the beauty of the jade cherry blossoms, the traditional kimono, the unique tea culture but also by the special culinary culture.

Japanese Cuisine is the most famous cuisine in the world by its sophisticated way of preparing and decorating of each dish. The taste of Japanese foods is often simple, elegant and close to the nature. Due to the special geographical location, surrounded by the sea, seafood and seaweed become two essential ingredients of all kind of foods in Japan. For Japanese people, it is more than just a food, the cuisine also tells the story of the country, represents their culture and their characters so far.

Come to Japanese Cuisine in Hanoi, the guests will have a chance to treat themselves with the most delicate dishes made from the finest ingredients such as Sushi & Sashimi, Tempura , Okonomi yaki pancakes, Shabu Shabu hot pot, Ramen and Soba noodles. Born in Kobe, Kansai, Japan, Mr. Masahiro has brought with him during his journey around the world all the traditional flavors from his hometown. These flavors bring back the memories of his childhood; remind him of one peaceful and simple place that he called it home. Fortunately, with the help of the talented Executive Chef Nguyen Cong Chung, rewarded Best Chef in Asia in 2017 by Hotelier Awards, he will have an opportunity to represents these experience to all beloved guests. From the original idea, Chef Chung with his sous – chef have created a special Japanese menu as the guest will discover a traditional famous dish called Okonomi yaki pancake in Kobe style, served with Suji kon-nyaku sauce. Along with other fabulous dishes, the journey to discover Japanese cuisine of the guests will be filled with joy and interesting information.
