Vietnam ready to compete in 43 events at SEA Games 30

Of the total, 28 will be officials, 22 will be made up of doctors, whilst the remaining 803 will consist of experts, coaches, and participating athletes.

The country’s athletes will be competing in 43 out of the 56 events set to take place at the biennial games.

These events include track and field, swimming, shooting, gymnastics, weightlifting, taekwondo, archery, judo, cycling, boxing, karate, wushu, wrestling, pencak silat, petanque, football, volleyball, table tennis, tennis, sepak takraw, billiards, badminton, chess, rowing, canoeing, aerobics, diving, artistic gymnastics, handball, golf, jujitsu, muay, arnis, kurash, dance sport, kick-boxing, bowling, sambo, basketball, eSports, skateboarding, and the triathlon, which consists of swimming, cycling, and running.

The Vietnamese delegation is aiming to win between 70 and 72 gold medals, with a number of Olympic sports such as track and field, shooting, swimming, artistic gymnastics, chess, rowing, fencing, and wrestling being high up the team’s list of priorities going into the games.
